A course designed for students at School of Education. In this hands-on course students will develop a solid understanding of the fundamental concepts of Design Thinking. Students will collaborate with their peers and develop strategies to use the Design Thinking process to solve a real world problem. Students will also learn new tools such as web coding and 3D printing technology that can help them and their students to reach the learning objectives.

Bring digital technology for teaching and learning to Africa (Presentation)
We see tremendous challenge in bringing digital technologies in teaching and learning to North Africa. Here we present two projects, both of which are in their beginning stages. One is to set up an adult computer training course in refugee camps in Chad; the other to provide training courses and material to primary school art teachers in South Sudan. Both projects are facing the same challenges, just to name a few: managing logistics, delivering technologies for the purpose of teaching and learning, and overcoming language barriers.
